Set up a shop counter computer

A counter is the shop's own tablet or computer. Staff unlock it with their own PIN.

Steps7

  1. On the admin’s phone, open Staff & permissions.
  2. Tap Counters & sign-ins.
  3. Tap Add a counter. Type a name, like "Front till".
  4. Tap Make a pairing code.
  5. On the counter, open Okount. Tap Set up a shop counter.
  6. Type the Pairing code.
  7. Tap Make this the shop counter.

If it stops you

That code didn’t work: the code lasts 15 minutes. Make a new one.

Nobody can unlock this counter yet: set a counter PIN for each person in Staff.

Good to know

  • To lock it, tap Lock counter in Settings.
