Refill a store from a warehouse

A store asks for stock. The warehouse sends it with a note number. The store counts it in.

Steps7

  1. Open Warehouse.
  2. Tap Refills.
  3. Tap the store, then Running low to see what it is short of.
  4. Tap Ask for all of it, or tap one product to ask for it.
  5. At the warehouse, open To send and tap Send. Put the note number in the box.
  6. At the store, open To receive and tap Count it in.
  7. Type what Arrived and what is Damaged. Tap Count it in.

If it stops you

The warehouse has none of it: ask a different place, or buy it from a supplier.

More arrived than was sent: count again. Extra stock goes in as goods without an order.

Good to know

  • Set each store's own low level with Low-stock levels for this store.
  • Stock on the way cannot be sold anywhere until the store counts it in.
  • Damaged or missing stock is written off at the store, so your books show it.
